Baseball Recap: Napa Comes Up Short

Napa lost against American Canyon back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grizzlies lost 19-5 to the Wolves.

Mason Bartlett was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. Cillian Shannon was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Napa has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for American Canyon, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

While Napa had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
