Gateway Regional is 8-2 against Paulsboro since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Gators will face off against the Red Raiders at 4:00 p.m. Gateway Regional comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Gateway Regional's offense. They came up short against Collingswood on Tuesday, falling 7-0.

Gateway Regional saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sofia Lezotte, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Paulsboro lost 13-2 to Collingswood last Tuesday.

Gateway Regional's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Paulsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Gateway Regional took their victory against Paulsboro in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gators since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
