Shasta won the last time they faced Red Bluff and things went their way on Friday too. Shasta blew past Red Bluff 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wolves have posted against the Spartans since April 25, 2023.

Landon Kidd looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Shasta got a big performance out of Owen Krieder, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Owen Boesiger was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Shasta's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Red Bluff, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Shasta is set to challenge their familiar foe Foothill at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Shasta 4.1, Foothill 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Red Bluff will face off against rival Pleasant Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
