Volleyball Recap: New Hampton's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

New Hampton won the last time they faced Decorah-North Winneshiek and things went their way on Thursday too. The Chickasaws came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 3-1.

New Hampton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 27-25, 25-13, 25-17.

New Hampton's victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-9. As for Decorah-North Winneshiek, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. New Hampton will square off against rival Crestwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Decorah-North Winneshiek is set to face off against their familiar foe Charles City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
