Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Napoleon Pirates, falling 13-4.

Eric Lopez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and one run. Jackson is 4-2 when Lopez posts two or more stolen bases, but 4-17 otherwise. Joseph Walraven was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Napoleon, they pushed their record up to 8-9 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Pirates beat Jackson by a score of 8-5 later that day.
