Softball Recap: Delta Victorious

Delta made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Juab, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Delta was the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over Juab on Tuesday. The Rabbits not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 4, 2024.

Danica Rowlette spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on 12 hits and racked up eight Ks. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Joslyn Christiansen, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Jaylie Taylor was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Delta's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Juab, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delta will host Milford at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Milford will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Juab, they will take on Richfield at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
