Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Snaps 17-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Liberty Christian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 62-42 to the Liberty Minutemen on Wednesday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Minutemen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Shania Brown was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 16 rebounds for Liberty. Moriah Tate was another key player, going 9 for 16 en route to 21 points.

Liberty Christian's loss ended a 17-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-2. As for Liberty, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
