After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Solon Springs, Butternut was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the South Shore Cardinals. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Midgets as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Butternut was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-28, 21-25, 25-23, 15-7.
