Lincoln-Way East extended the longest winning streak in Southwest Suburban - Blue this week by beating Joliet, 49-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Griffins.

Bolingbrook suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after besting Lincoln-Way Central. The Raiders had been ranked 14th, but fell to 30.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Homewood-Flossmoor takes on Sandburg. As it stands, the Vikings are in third, while the Eagles are in second.

Joliet West moved up to 237 from 264 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Joliet West was able to make the jump by falling to Homewood-Flossmoor 49-0.
