Softball Recap: Pisgah Gets the Win

Pisgah proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by seven) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Hueytown Golden Gophers 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since March 10th.

Pisgah is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Hueytown, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

Pisgah has already played their next matchup, an 8-7 defeat against West End on the 4th. As for Hueytown, they will face off against McAdory at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
