Baseball Recap: Marion County Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Marion County's offense. They came up short against the Larue County Hawks on Wednesday, falling 9-0. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Marion County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Larue County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion County will venture away from home to face off against Campbellsville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Larue County, they will square off against Bardstown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Larue County is facing Bardstown at the right time seeing as Bardstown is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
