Basketball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 51-19 defeat at the hands of the Clay Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-20 back in January.

East's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Clay, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Northwest at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clay, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Clay Panthers duke it out with the Glenwood Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
