Basketball Recap: Northland Christian Takes a Loss

Northland Christian was the 35-19 winner over Heartland when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. Northland Christian were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 27-26 to the Heartland Mustangs. Northland Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kalei Hallam had an outrageously good game for Heartland as she dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. That's the most points Hallam has posted since back in November of 2024. Elizabeth Archibald was another key player, putting up six points along with seven boards and four steals.

Northland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Heartland, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

Northland Christian has already played their next game (against Maranatha Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Heartland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
