Mountain Home hasn't had much luck against Twin Falls recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Tigers will take on the Bruins in a tournament on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Thursday. Mountain Home put the hurt on Jerome with a sharp 14-7 win. Mountain Home hasn't had any issues with Jerome recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Tre Morse was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tyler Petersen, who went 4-for-5 with five RBI.
Meanwhile, Twin Falls had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. Everything went their way against the Riverhawks as they made off with a 13-3 win.
Jordan Bingham looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.
On the hitting side, Maddox Stadelmeir was incredible, going 2-for-4 with five RBI and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryker Rex, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Twin Falls hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive matchups.
Twin Falls pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Mountain Home, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Mountain Home has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .452. However, it's not like Twin Falls struggles in that department as they've averaged .441. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
