Football Recap: Vidalia Comes Up Short

Vidalia fell victim to Bunkie and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 60-0 loss at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Panthers are ranked 62nd).

Michael Randall Jr. threw for 38 yards while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Vidalia has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Bunkie, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Vidalia wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 47-0 loss against Caldwell Parish on the 7th. As for Bunkie, they have also already played their next matchup, a 49-24 victory against Marksville on the 6th.
