While Forks's win against Hoquiam wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans won by a run and slipped past the Grizzlies 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spartans have posted since April 13, 2024.

The win was the fourth in a row for Forks, bringing their record up to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hoquiam, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
