Volleyball Game Preview: Big Walnut Golden Eagles vs. Hilliard Bradley Jaguars

The Big Walnut Golden Eagles will challenge the Hilliard Bradley Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Big Walnut is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Big Walnut came up short against St. Francis DeSales and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Chillicothe typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Hilliard Bradley proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cavaliers, sneaking past 3-2.

Hilliard Bradley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 23-25, 25-17, 27-25, 15-13.

Hilliard Bradley's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Big Walnut, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Big Walnut skirted past Hilliard Bradley 2-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Do the Golden Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
