Hudson owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over the Shepherd Hill Regional Rams. The Hawks were shut out 1-0 the last time they took on the Rams, so the Hawks were just returning the favor.

Hudson's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jake Attaway, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

The win made it two in a row for Hudson and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Shepherd Hill Regional, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hudson will head out to take on North Middlesex Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shepherd Hill Regional, they will venture away from home to face off against Marlborough at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
