Soccer Recap: Panther Creek Comes Up Short

Panther Creek lost against Apex back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Panther Creek came up short against Apex, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Panther Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 312th, while Apex are ranked 55th).

This is the second loss in a row for Panther Creek and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Apex, their record is now 4-1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Panther Creek will take on rival Green Hope at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Apex is set to challenge their familiar foe Apex Friendship at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
