Quabbin Regional hasn't had much luck against Clinton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Gaels at 4:00 p.m.

Quabbin Regional is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gardner. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clinton). They blew past Littleton 14-4 on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Gaels considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Leo Repole made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. She also tossed two walks, marking her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Grace Alvarado was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-5. She also put up two RBI, which were her first of the season. Ava Varakis was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-5.
