Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Rock Island walked away with it. They secured a 56-51 W over the Moline Maroons on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Rocks: when they faced off against the Maroons two weeks ago, they had to take a 64-60 loss.

Rock Island's victory bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Moline, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-16.

Coming up, Rock Island will be playing in front of their home fans against Normal Community at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Normal Community will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Rock Island surely won't give up without a fight. Moline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
