Baseball Recap: Paw Paw Takes a Loss

Paw Paw lost against Niles on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Wolves came up short against the Vikings, falling 16-4. The Red Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Landon Buhl was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Remi Dempsey, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Paw Paw's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Niles, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

Coming up, Paw Paw will square off against Vicksburg at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Niles, they will take on New Prairie at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
