South Point is a perfect 7-0 against Crest since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Red Raiders are taking a road trip to take on the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in South Point's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last five games.

South Point's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Ashbrook. South Point's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five contests.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Crest and Forestview, and Forestview kept the tradition alive. The Chargers came up short against the Jaguars on Tuesday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Crest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 275th, while Forestview are ranked 98th).

South Point is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those seven matches. As for Crest, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Everything went South Point's way against Crest when the teams last played back in March, as South Point made off with a 9-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Raiders since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
