Baseball Game Preview: Covenant Christian Cougars vs. Prince of Peace Eagles

For the second straight game, Covenant Christian will face off against Prince of Peace. The Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Covenant Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Covenant Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Prince of Peace get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Covenant Christian got a massive performance out of Carter Humphrey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave Humphrey a new career-high. Michael Winstead was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
