Baseball Recap: Mammoth Comes Up Short

Mammoth fell victim to California City and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Ravens. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Ravens: they've now lost six in a row.

Mammoth's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for California City, they pushed their record up to 14-5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Mammoth will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rosamond at 3:15 p.m. on the 21st. As for California City, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bishop Union at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Ravens' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
