A look at seasonal statistical leaders and top performances the last two weeks in Ohio, New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Who scored over 40 points? Who grabbed over 20 rebounds? Who dished out 10 assists? Here's a look at the boys basketball leaders in points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and more in the Great Lakes states this winter...plus a couple nuggets of note from the past two weeks.

Great Lakes Region Round Up

Who hit it big the last two weeks in the Great Lakes Region? Try Jaykuss Figueroa.

A sophomore guard/forward at New York School for the Deaf (White Plains, N.Y.), Figueroa had 20 points, 39 rebounds and eight assists in a 62-40 win over Rhode Island School for the Deaf (Providence, R.I.). He also had a triple-double (13 points, 15 rebounds, 13 assists) in a 65-64 win over American School for the Deaf (West Hartford, Conn.).



30-Something: Pansophia Academy (Coldwater, Mich.) senior Micah Mcdonald had 26 points and 35 rebounds in a 59-55 win over Holt Lutheran (Holt, Mich.).

50-spot: Two regional players – Heritage Christian (Dyer, Ind.) senior Noah Andringa and Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, Pa.) senior JJ Green topped to 50-point plateau in recent weeks. Andringa scored 53 points in an 82-60 win over Pathway Christian Academy (Christiansburg, Va.). He hit seven 3s and had 10 rebounds. Green dropped 52 in a 91-24 win over Mapletown (Greensboro, Pa.). He hit seven 3s and just one free throw.

Double Bubble: Thompsonville (Thompsonville, Ill.) senior point guard Peyton Roberts posted back-to-back double-digit assist totals in wins over Shawnee (10) and Crab Orchard (16). Crestwood (Mantua, Ohio) junior Mason Jakacki and Jackson HomeSchool (Jackson, Mich.) senior David Marsh each registered 15 assists in wins over Mogadore (Mogadore, Ohio) and Will Carleton Academy (Hillsdale, Mich.), respectively. It was Jakacki’s fifth double-digit assist game of the season.

Sticky Fingers: Boys' Latin Charter (Philadelphia, Pa.) senior guard Jabril Lawson registered 14 steals in 82-66 win over String Theory (Philadelphia, Pa.). He also added 22 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

Big Shot: In a 101-91 win over Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, Pa.), Panther Valley (Lansford, Pa.) senior guard Rene Figueroa tallied 47 points (hit eight 3s), 13 rebounds and four assists.

Block Party: Captain Ryan Segall, a 6-foot-10 senior for the Indianapolis Northwest HomeSchool Warriors (Indianapolis, Ind.), led the region with 11 blocks in a 62-57 win over Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool (Cincinnati, Ohio). He was one point shy of a triple-double (with nine points and 13 rebounds).
