Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addie Follis and Eden Fields Lead Northside to Victory

Northside won the last time they faced Shiloh Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Grizzlies came out on top in a nail-biter against the Saints, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (109-101) Northside actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25, 14-25, 19-25, 16-14.

Northside was led to victory by Eden Fields and Addie Follis. Fields had 16 digs and one assist, while Follis had ten digs and three assists. Those 16 digs gave Fields a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Shiloh Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kennedy Brown had 32 assists and three digs.

Northside's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Northside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Conway on the 26th. As for Shiloh Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Rogers on the 26th.
