Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Randolph). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Brocton Bulldogs a 13-0 shutout on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cardinals considering their two-run performance the game before.

Aliza Hind made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with three runs.

In other batting news, Sadie S.Steward was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Quinn Pence was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Randolph kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brocton only managed two hits.
