Basketball Recap: Hibbing Takes a Loss

Hibbing lost against Cloquet back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hibbing Bluejackets took a blow against the Cloquet Lumberjacks, falling 80-25. The Bluejackets' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Hibbing's record is now 1-14. As for Cloquet, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Hibbing will be playing in front of their home fans against Esko at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hibbing is facing Esko at the right time seeing as Esko is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Cloquet, they are taking a road trip to square off against Crosby-Ironton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Crosby-Ironton will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Cloquet surely won't give up without a fight.
