Football Preview: Miami Trace Panthers vs. Washington Blue Lions
The Miami Trace Panthers will challenge the Washington Blue Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
On Friday, Miami Trace lost to Jackson at home by a 41-27 margin. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washington). They put the hurt on Hillsboro with a sharp 43-21 win on Friday. The Blue Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Washington's win came from a few key players Miami Trace will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Aden Osborne, who picked up 229 receiving yards and four scores. He is becoming a predictor of Washington's success: when he posts at least 100 receiving yards the team is 3-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't). Sam Pfeifer was another key player, throwing for 353 yards and six TDs while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt.
