Softball Recap: West Allis Hale Comes Up Short at Home Against Oshkosh West

West Allis Hale unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Oshkosh West Wildcats by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Oshkosh West has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Allis Hale will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Divine Savior Holy Angels at 4:30 p.m. on the 8th. As for Oshkosh West, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Oshkosh West Wildcats challenge Stevens Point Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on the 4th.
