Soccer Recap: Adairsville's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Adairsville couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Whitewater Wildcats on Monday, falling 6-0. The shutout was out of character for Adairsville seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Adairsville moved to 15-4 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for Whitewater, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home.

Adairsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whitewater, they will be playing at home against Oconee County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oconee County will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Whitewater surely won't give up without a fight.
