Torres had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Washington Union Panthers on Wednesday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Toros have posted since February 25th.

Torres wouldn't go down easily and took Washington Union into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-16, 25-13, 25-27, 15-8.

Torres' win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Washington Union, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Torres didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Immanuel on the 14th. Washington Union has also already played their next contest (against Madera South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
