Softball Recap: Seeger Takes a Loss

Seeger managed to slip by South Vermillion the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Patriots lost 18-5 to the Wildcats on Thursday. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Aubrey Spear was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run.

Seeger's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for South Vermillion, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-6.

Seeger has already played their next contest, a 20-10 loss against Armstrong on the 3rd. As for South Vermillion, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-0 defeat against Clay City on the 5th.
