            For the second straight game, Estrella Foothills will face off against Deer Valley. Estrella Foothills will head out on the road to  take on  Deer Valley  at 3:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. Estrella Foothills has given up an average of 16.7  runs per game this season, but Wednesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Estrella Foothills had been on  a  three-game streak of scoring at least ten  runs, but Deer Valley put an end to it  on Monday. Estrella Foothills came up short against  Deer Valley, falling  18-0. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Skyhawks: they've now lost eight in a row.
For Deer Valley's part,  Adyson Ordway was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Ordway has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Avyanah Seely was a standout: she scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Leila Hermosillo, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-5.
 Deer Valley  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in four consecutive  matchups.
 Deer Valley is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. Estrella Foothills'  defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-14.
