Volleyball Recap: Queen Creek Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Alexis Ramirez and Jess Gaddie + How To Watch

Queen Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Williams Field Black Hawks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Black Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on October 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-17.

Jess Gaddie and Alexis Ramirez certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Gaddie had six digs and two aces, while Ramirez had eight digs and three assists. Gaddie is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Queen Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Williams Field, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Queen Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Desert Ridge on the 28th. As for Williams Field, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Higley on the 29th.
