Rainier came out on top against Winlock on Monday thanks in part to Peyton Sheaffer's efforts. Sheaffer went 5-for-6 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Sheaffer's strong effort led Rainier over Winlock and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mountaineers are a perfect 9-0 against the Cardinals going back to March of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
