Basketball Game Preview: Marburn Academy Panthers vs. Foxfire Phoenix

Marburn Academy hasn't had much luck against Foxfire recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will take on the Phoenix at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Thursday, Marburn Academy took a blow against Cornerstone Academy, falling 72-10.

Meanwhile, Foxfire played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through an 81-32 loss at the hands of Oakstone Academy. The matchup marked the Phoenix's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Foxfire's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Marburn Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Marburn Academy was dealt a bruising 68-28 defeat at the hands of Foxfire in their previous meeting back in December of 2025. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Panthers were down 40-15.
