Baseball Recap: Mars Takes a Loss

Mars managed to slip by Shaler Area the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Fightin' Planets came up short against the Titans on Tuesday, falling 6-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Fightin' Planets have suffered since April 3rd.

This is the second loss in a row for Mars and nudges their season record down to 9-10. As for Shaler Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

While Mars had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
