Basketball Game Preview: Chilton County Tigers vs. Wetumpka Indians + How To Watch

Chilton County hasn't had much luck against Wetumpka recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The two teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Chilton County managed to slip by Marbury the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers were beaten by the Bulldogs 88-58 on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Wetumpka had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They breezed past the Panthers to the tune of 57-22. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.

Chilton County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Wetumpka, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Chilton County was taken down by Wetumpka 79-40 when the teams last played back in January. Thankfully for the Tigers, Justin Godwin (who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
