Basketball Recap: Brimfield Takes a Loss

Brimfield lost against Illini Bluffs back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Brimfield Indians took a 39-24 bruising from the Illini Bluffs Tigers. The matchup marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Brimfield's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Illini Bluffs, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Brimfield has already played their next game (against Elmwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Illini Bluffs is taking a road trip to challenge Peoria Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Peoria Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Illini Bluffs likes a good challenge.
