It was a good run, but Puckett unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Clinton Arrows, falling 16-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolves have suffered since March 14th.

Puckett saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lila Murphy, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Puckett's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7-1. As for Clinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Puckett will take on Mize at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Clinton, they will venture away from home to face off against Tupelo at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
