It was a good run, but Live Oak unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fremont Firebirds. The shutout was out of character for the Acorns seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Live Oak's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Fremont, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Live Oak will head out to face off against Willow Glen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fremont, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Newark Memorial on the 12th.
