Baseball Recap: Warrensburg-Latham Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Warrensburg-Latham had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Cerro Gordo/Bement on Monday. Warrensburg-Latham never let Cerro Gordo/Bement get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Dawson Waterhouse made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Waterhouse was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Nathan Southern was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Those runs were his first of the season. Kristopher Lawson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.
