Baseball Recap: Hays Triumphs

Hays barely beat Leander the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hawks never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won five in a row.

Hays' victory bumped their record up to 11-7-1. As for Leander, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hays is set to challenge their familiar foe Rouse at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
