Baseball Recap: Glenwood Takes a Loss

Glenwood fell victim to MOC-Floyd Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Dutchmen by a score of 1-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Glenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Glenwood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-1 loss against Spencer on the 6th. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, they will host West Lyon at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Dutchmen 3.5, the Wildcats 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
