Soccer Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Wasatch

With a playoff win on the line, Wasatch rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the West Panthers by a score of 2-0. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Wasatch's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while West are ranked 38th).

The victory (which was Wasatch's seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those seven matches. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Coming up, Wasatch will challenge Granger at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Granger will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Wasatch surely won't give up without a fight. West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
