Fillmore Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Adams Central Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Addison Ekeler paced Fillmore Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Ekeler got some help from Makenna Mccoy and her 11 assists. Ali Nichols controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Adams Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabby Feeney, who had seven digs and 14 assists. Feeney is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in the last 28 games she's played.

Fillmore Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Adams Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-11.
