Soccer Game Preview: Irvin vs. Mountain View

The Irvin Rockets will challenge the Mountain View Lobos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Irvin's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Irvin turned things around against Loretto on Tuesday. They and the Angels finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Rockets' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Burges.

Irvin's draw makes their record 0-3-1 this season. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
