Baseball Recap: Richmond Comes Up Short

Richmond lost against Carrollton back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 5-4. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Carrollton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Richmond wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-6 victory against Oak Grove on the 2nd. As for Carrollton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-1 win against Marceline on the 2nd.
